Hardal

Keep the container.
Hand off the hosting.

Your sGTM container runs on a domain you own. Hardal runs the hosting, monitoring, consent rules and delivery underneath it.

Running sGTM yourself

    Hardal

Your team keeps the container. Hardal takes the other four lines.

The container runs on a subdomain you own, so the data path does not change hands.

The container, the tags, the tag plan: your team. The host, its scaling and its bill: Hardal. Patching, monitoring and the pager: Hardal. Consent rules and identifier hashing: Hardal. Destination APIs when they change: Hardal.

From your site to each platform

  1. Collect

Events arrive on a subdomain you own, wired to your sGTM container. Web and mobile use the same path.

  2. Govern

Hardal applies your consent rules, hashes approved identifiers, and deduplicates browser and server events on event ID.

  3. Deliver

Events go out server to server, and Hardal logs what each platform accepted.

What the rate covers

  • Managed sGTM hosting

Hardal runs, monitors and patches the container host. Your team keeps the container and the tags.

  • Cookieless collection

Web and app events without third-party cookies, reading the consent state your CMP records.

  • Managed destinations

GA4, Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and your warehouse, kept current as each API changes.

  • Governance before delivery

Hashing, redaction and consent rules run per destination, before anything is stored or forwarded.

  • Your raw events

The event stream stays queryable and routes to the warehouse you nominate.

  • Setup and support

Guided setup for tags, DNS and destinations, then a shared channel when something breaks.

We moved all our marketing onto our own first-party data with Hardal. The whole setup took days, not months.

Questions we get asked

Is server-side collection a way around consent?

No. If you sell into the UK or EU you still need opt-in consent and Consent Mode v2, and your GDPR, CCPA and KVKK obligations are unchanged. Hardal reads consent from your banner and applies it before an event reaches any destination.

Will this make GA4 and Meta agree?

No. They count different things over different windows, and Meta models what it cannot observe. What changes is that every event has one record on your own server, so you can explain the difference.

How long does setup take?

One to three days for a typical web setup, once the tag plan, DNS access and destination credentials are ready. Custom and headless storefronts take longer.

What does it cost?

$249 a month for 5 million events, $599 for 10 million, $1,599 for 20 million. Above that is quoted.
