How We Spend Money
Our approach on expenses
At Hardal, we trust you to spend company money as if it were your own. Hardal covers what is reasonable, necessary, and clearly related to work. Here is the short version.
The short version
· Spend it like it's your own. If you would think twice with your own money, think twice with ours. · Reasonable, necessary, related to work. All three, or it is not an expense.
· A benefit is not an expense. If your meal, wellness, or learning allowance already covers it, claim it there, not here.
· Keep the receipt. One line on what it was for is all we need.
· Ask first when it is unusual or larger than usual. A quick message beats a long approval chain.
· Meeting someone? Say who and why. That one line is what makes a client meal easy to approve.
Example: working from a café is your coffee to buy. Taking a prospect to that café is ours. Being at work does not make a personal cost a company one.
Benefits or expenses?
Your meal, wellness, healthcare, learning, remote setup, and other allowances are claimed as benefits, not as expenses. If it fits a benefit, claim it there. You can find them all on the Benefits page.
