PEARL Framework
The principles that shape how we work and who we are at Hardal.
PEARL is how we think about the kind of people we want to be and the kind of company we want to build.
P → Passion
Passion means falling in love with the problem, not the solution. In work and in life.

Read The Creative Act: A Way of Being by Rick Rubin to understand what that kind of commitment looks like.
E → Efficiency
A day has 24 hours and that will never be 25. Every single YES is other 1000 No's.
Turn off notifications. Block time. Do 1 thing well instead of 10 things halfway.

Read Deep Work by Cal Newport to go deeper on this.
A → Agility
Don't wait for permission. If you see what needs to be done, do it.

Example: You're blocked waiting on a response. You make a call, document it, and flag it to the team.
R → Responsibility
Ownership means the outcome is yours, not just the task. Even outside your job description.

Example: You notice the copy on a page is misleading customers. Not your job on paper. You flag it and suggest a fix anyway.
L → Learning
We stay curious. Read, write, and share.

Example: In a meeting, someone references a book you haven't heard of. That's your cue. We expect everyone to follow what's being read, written, and discussed across the team and to contribute to it.
