At Hardal, we try to enjoy what we do. It's not easy, but we set clear rules so everyone's on the same page. Here's how we work:

Remote-First, Always Connected

We're a team spread across different time zones, mostly in Turkey. We work remotely but stay connected.

  • Async first - We communicate through writing, Slack, and Linear
  • Smart sync-ups - We make sure everyone knows what others are working on

Fast and Clear

We move quickly, but with a clear purpose. We build and improve rapidly while keeping quality high.

  • We release updates every two weeks
  • We take one week between releases to reflect and plan
  • We decide quickly without overthinking
  • We try new things and learn from what doesn't work

Keep It Simple

We believe simple solutions work best. We build products that are:

  • Good for Us - So good we want to use them ourselves
  • Easy to Use - Self-explanatory and straightforward
  • Rock Solid - Can handle enterprise workloads
  • Laser-Focused - Solves specific problems really well

Focus Time

We protect time for deep work:

  • No-meeting Mondays - A full day for focused work
  • Focus blocks - we expect everyone to have long chunks of uninterrupted time
  • Response timing - No need to reply right away except for emergencies

Work-Life Balance

We are againts burnout. We believe in sustainable work.

  • Flexible hours within core team hours
  • Results matter - We care what you achieve, not how long you work
  • No holiday limits - Take time to recharge when needed
